Brault, Mlb draft pick

Regis University OF/LHP  Steven Brault is an impressive and affable young man blessed with a magnetic and friendly personality.  He is an accomplished musician and has a splenid voice. I saw him belt a rousing rendition of the National Anthem that I will never forget. This great young man heard his name called in last weekend’s MLB Draft when the Baltimore Orioles selected him in the 11th round.  A junior two-way player with impressive skills, Brault is a tough and über-competitive grinder who offers unique versatility to the Oriole organization.  Congratulations to Brault and his wonderful family as he embarks on his professional baseball career. Here are my notes on Brault:

Steven returns for his third season in the Northwoods League. A 2011 Northwoods League All-Star, Brault is a superb two-way player. Through May 1, Steven has been hitting .400 with 30 RBIs and owns a 2.19 ERA on the mound for Regis. Last year, he recorded 10 strikeouts (6/30) against Alexandria.
